What You Need to Know

We are so glad that you have taken the time to visit this website and learn more about our church. We know that your first visit to any church comes with lots of questions, so we have tried to answer some of them here. If you would like to talk to us in person, or if you have any questions that are not addressed here, please feel free to contact us. We hope to see you soon!

What to expect each Sunday . . .

Sunday Morning
Sunday School classes begin at 9:00 a.m. with something for every age group. Worship Service begins on Sunday morning at 10:15a.m.  Stop by the information desk at our Troy Street Entrance to find out where the class is that best meets your needs. One of our Deacons will be happy to help you.

What do I wear?
Each Sunday, you will find people wearing a range of clothing from suits to jeans.  The important thing to remember about what you decide to wear on Sunday is to be who you are.

In the Parking Lot  Guest Parking is located directly in front of the Worship Center.

As You Enter the Building
As you enter the our facilities, you will be greeted by one of our members at the door. They will be able to answer any questions you might have.

Childcare
At First Baptist, we LOVE kids! That's why we've made it a priority to provide quality and fun programming and events for children! Committed teachers come prepared to help kids experience God’s love through age-appropriate Bible studies, and hands-on learning experiences that help them connect with Jesus.

Preschool childcare is available during our service

Children's Church is for children ages k-2nd grade and they will be led out during our service by our leaders.

1st-6th graders attend Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. and join their parents for worship at 10:15 a.m. Children must be picked up from their Sunday school room by a parent or older sibling.

6-12 Sunday School, see our schedule

Music
At First Baptist, the musical aspect of worship is a great blend of the worshipful praise songs to the rich hymns of old.  We love new songs and we love old songs. We want the music to be a worshipful experience.
