Family Friendly Missions Project

Mt. Calvary Baptist, Slocomb

Kick-Off Rally - Sunday, June 22

VBS - Monday-Friday, June 23–27

We will help the congregation of Mt. Calvary with their Vacation Bible School

this Summer.

VBS will be Monday–Friday Mornings,

 June 23-27. There will also be a Kick-Off Rally on Sunday evening, June 22,

and possibly a Commencement

Service on Sunday evening, June 29.

There is NO cost involved in this missions endeavor! Transportation will be provided! If you are interested or have questions, please call Mike Golson at the church office 792-5117, ext. 202.

Eyeglasses for Honduras Medical Mission Trip

- June 2008

A Medical Mission trip is planned for June 14–28 to Honduras. We are collecting used eyeglasses to take for distribution. Any type will do-regular prescription lens,

sunglasses, and reading glasses. New reading glasses may also be purchased at discount stores. There are collection baskets in the Main Street foyer and at the Troy Street entrance. Let’s fill them up!
