Psalm 40:1-3. Verse 3: "He has given me a new
song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be
amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord."

Ministry
Goal: To educate children, youth, and adults
musically so that they can sing and play skillfully
in praise of God, and to teach them about God and
God's love for them.

Terry was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He made a
profession of faith at age nine, and surrendered to
the ministry at age 19. Terry married his wife,
Laurie, in 1977. They have two adult children,
Carrie Beth and Jeremy.
Terry has a passion for authentic, blended worship
and a special interest in music for children.
"Children make a natural connection with music. We
can use that connection to help children connect
with God for life." He is a long-time children's
music specialist, curriculum writer, conference
leader and composer. He is also active in Dothan as
a volunteer in local schools, Habitat for Humanity
and the Cultural Arts Center.
Terry has a unique way of building teams and helping
people develop and use their talents in worship and
ministry. "Get 'em started and get out of their
way!" is one of his favorite mottos. People
who
work closely with Terry often hear him say: "Embrace
the chaos!" Wonderful ministry opportunities come to
those who are flexible and persistent enough to
break free of rigid structures and make people a
priority.
