I love a challenge. I love
for someone to
say “it is impossible.” I
guess I think like
Zig Ziglar. He says about
himself, “that he is such an optimist that he would go after
Moby Dick in a rowboat and take the tartar sauce with him.” It
is easy to be an optimist and to take on challenges when the
Lord tells you to take them on. Then you can face the impossible
because with God all things are possible.
What are you facing today
that seems impossible? See your impossibility as an opportunity
for God to do something only
He can do.
If you missed the church
picnic this past Sunday then you missed a lot of fellowship and
food! And I mean a lot of food. I will never doubt the ability
of this church to produce great amounts of food. I tell you, we
had great amounts of food. But one of the great things was the
fellowship. Debbie told me on the way home from the picnic, that
as she looked across the grounds and saw so many people, she
envisioned heaven to be just like the picnic.
All types of people who
are together because of their belief in Jesus Christ. It was a
wonderful picture of the church of our Lord.
I don’t know if you
realize that the First Family is a wonderful family of people
who are growing in our love for Jesus and one
another. May the Lord
allow us to increase for His glory and honor.
You’re a wonderful people
and Debbie and I are blessed to be a part of this wonderful
family of God.
