Welcome to First Kids Preschool Ministry

Our Preschool Ministry is dedicated to teaching babies - K5 what it means to follow and live for Jesus Christ. We want them to have fun while they are beginning their walk in faith. Our prayer is that every child will come to know the Lord at an early age.

Parent FAQS

Our welcome team members are stationed all over the church. Find someone wearing a Welcome Team lanyard and tell them that it is your first time. They will walk you to the appropriate location to begin the check in process.

One of our welcome team members will walk you through the check in process. The electronic check in system will ask for basic information on you and your kids. After that information has been input into our system you will receive two security tags. One is for you to keep for when you pick up your child, and the other is to give to the teacher upon arrival at the class.

Safety is our top priority for children that come to our church. Show the teacher your child’s security tag, and we will then release your child to you.

For more information about getting involved in this area of ministry please fill out this form and we will be in touch with you.

A decision to follow Jesus is the most important decision anyone can make. With a child, it is even more important that parents be sensitive to this situation. We would be glad to sit down and talk with both you and your child about this decision. Here is an easy guide to sharing with Gospel with children.

God Rules: The Bible tells us that God created everything, including you and me, and He is in charge of everything. Genesis 1:1; Revelation 4:11; Colossians 1:16-17

We Sinned: We all choose to disobey God. The Bible calls this sin. Sin separates us from God and deserves God’s punishment of death. That’s bad news. Romans 3:23, 6:23

God Provided: But wait. There’s also good news! God sent His Son Jesus, the perfect solution to our sin problem, to rescue us from the punishment we deserve. That’s something that we, as sinners, could never earn on our own. Jesus alone saves us. John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9

Jesus Gives: Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again. Because Jesus gave up His life for us, we can be welcomed into God’s family now, and for all eternity. That’s the best gift ever! Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 3:18; Ephesians 2:8-9

We Respond: How can you respond to this gift? Believe in your heart that Jesus alone saves you through what He has already done on the cross. Repent, turning from self and sin to Jesus. Tell God and others that your faith is in Jesus. John 14:6; Romans 10:9-10, 13
